Rolyn Dice Limited Accessories

We all have a healthy (?) obsession with dice. However, the problem is usually deciding where to place them all. Rolyn Dice Limited sent us some of their accessories to check out. We really enjoyed them as they were unique from anything we currently own!

Items sent for review

Were these accessories sent for review or self-purchased?: Sent for review by NEVRSTOPPLAYN. We were sent a dice bag with metallic logos featuring a robot carrying a die. The bag is very soft and has a nice microbraided cord. The dice case has a keychain dice case attached, which holds 6 dice, which means YOU CAN CARRY EVEN MORE DICE outside your dice bag. We were also sent the version 1 2x dice cases, which are SLS printed and hand dyed. They keep the dice sets nice and tidy in their container and make it easier to find if you were to put them in your game bag. Each of these dice cases in version 1 hold 2 D6, but to be honest we tried it with other types of dice and generally found success. You can get these cases with or without the keychain component.

A dice bag with more dice on the outside. We love this keychain a lot.

In two sentences, what do you do with the accessories: For all of the products we were sent, essentially, you utilize the accessories to organize your dice in style. For the dice cases to open and close, simply flick them with your thumb!

Have we reviewed anything else by this publisher?: No, we have not.

What was surprising about this title: The variety of sizes and colors for this product are astounding. From the smallest 19mm to the biggest 5mm in the set we received, we were delighted by the teeny tiny and big dice cases that could meet a variety of dice needs.

The giant case next to the tiny baby case

How likely is this to return to the game table?: All the time. Unless we are playing a game that doesn’t need dice. You’d use the cases more for games that require d6, like ttrpgs, so it would find the use maybe in that setting.

Game length: N/A

Language Barrier Playability: None! They’re dice.

Artwork: Astounding. The Rolyn logo is sharp looking and the design of their bags and cases will gain a lot of attention on the table. The colors pop and the dice inside contrast nicely with the outer case colors. You can tell every aspect of the design was carefully thought out. If you want something unique, these have that WOW factor you may be wanting.

Quality: Great! The printing is done well and the sandblasting and polishing leave no rough surfaces. Please note the 8mm dice sent for review are stand-ins and not the final quality for those dice. We really loved that they could make quality pieces for the greatly varied size of dice. One tiny note is that the closure on the 19mm stuck out a little more when closed, but I may have opened it wrong the first time. It still fully shuts. You definitely have to open with care but they aren’t delicate either.

Strategy: N/A

Instruction Manual: N/A but they do have an instructional video on the best way to open the dice cases.

Organization: Fabulous. The cases and dice bags keep the dice organized in a way that will make packing for game night easy. As a personal preference, we really enjoyed the keychain cases because we felt they saved the most room.

Final thoughts: These dice accessories were impressive because they do what they’re supposed to do while looking futuristically cool. The artistry is unlike any other dice accessory we own and we plan on using these for our ttrpg nights. They are meant for d6, so that makes their function very specific (but we tried other dice anyway), so that is one thing to keep in mind. However, even if you want to hold a large variety of dice, their dice bags are nice as well.
